In this session, we will examine two reading activities that involve the station-based learning and authentic materials. These activities are designed to promote a range of reading skills while maximizing learner engagement, critical thinking, and learner autonomy. In addition to discussing the procedures and rationales for the activities, we will explore options for adapting these classroom-tested ideas to succeed in a variety of ELT contexts.
